Bachelor’s Degree (English language)

The three-year, English-language bachelor’s degree programme in Global Business and Management takes the form of a professionally oriented study programme without specialisations (i.e. the study programme has a single curriculum). The study programme is separately accredited by the National Accreditation Authority for Higher Education.
The study programme is designed to meet the requirements of the labour market

The study programme reflects the progressively changing requirements of the labour market, including the growing demand for 

comprehensively equipped specialists and managers possessing both the necessary breadth of subject-specific expertise and consciously and purposefully developed personal qualities and language skills, especially professional communication skills in English. 

The programme prepares students for careers in an international environment

Students on the programme acquire not only core subject knowledge, but also necessary supplementary knowledge, especially in the fields of law, philosophy and psychology, as well broader professional skills in communication and presentation. Students learn to communicate actively to solve professional assignments and problems. 

Practice is an integral part of the study programme

Students must carry out a minimum of 480 hours of practical professional activities over the course of their studies. NEWTON University cooperates with a number of companies, institutions and organisations with an international outlook to organise study placements in English. 

International study environments, placements and internships

Students on the programme have the opportunity to take advantage of the ERASMUS+ study abroad programme. NEWTON University cooperates with 27 colleges and universities in 13 countries under the scheme.

The Global Business and Management programme is conducted in English The programme as a whole, as well as the individual modules, are therefore also suitable for international students coming to the Czech Republic for long-term and short-term study stays and internships, including students on ERASMUS+ exchanges.

Forms of study

The main form of study is full time on NEWTON’s Prague campus. In addition, In order to meet the needs of students, as well as to broaden access to the programme to include international students who encounter difficulties in travelling to the Czech Republic to pursue full-time education, there is also the option to study remotely, via distance learning.

Entry to the programme requires a minimum of B2 or C1 English proficiency level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
